What we are looking for: WINMAR® Property Restoration Specialists – Guelph is seeking Estimator/Project Manager. This position is full time and you will be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish scope and standards of construction projects
  • Estimate equipment, manpower, cost of project, and materials required to accomplish each project using industry approved software (i.e. Xactimate)
  • Document management of  the job costs-employees materials and trades, bill the job – collect receivables outstanding

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in construction estimation and project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction, materials, methods and codes
  • Knowledge of laws and ordinances regulating building construction
  • Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience
  • IICRC certification in Fire and Smoke, Odour Control and/or Water Damage preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per WINMAR®’s vehicle policy
  • Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Computer and/or tablet/iPad experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Google Suite and industry approved software (i.e. Xactimate)
  • Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
